Honestly those Michelin Energy MXV4 all-seasons are excellent. They are very quiet, and they wear out very slowly (in other words, they'll last a long time). They have a wear rating of 440 and temperature tolerance of AA.
My Camry SE V6 came with these in 215/55/17 size. I've already gone over 20000 kilometers on mine and I think they offer very good dry traction. They're not bad in the rain either.
I'd say these Michelins are "premium" all-seasons. They sell for $173 per tire on TireRack.
$800-900 total.
