I know this is an old post but our Sequoia eats tires too, we are on our second set and the outer edge gets chewed when on the front (feathers real bad). We are running Michelins, same ones that come on the Land Cruiser. My friends Cruiser has no issues with the tire, our Sequoia is destroying them. There is actually a ball joint recall that we had done however it did not fix the problem. Good luck finding a solution, we are thinking of selling ours as I'm sick of feeling the vibrations and watching the tires get eating.
