I've been to two Lexus driving clinics with them b4, which they actually got a group of driving instructors (who all of them used to or still race) from "Driving Unlimited"...once on an autox kinda thing event, and another time on track

If you have a choice, get either the 250/stick, and well the 350 only comes in auto.. Not sure who decided to not put a manual behind the 350. Dumb engineers...

sa-weeet! Tell us all about it! Can't wait.

Oh and while you're at it, you might as well sign up for the RMB Tour by Mercedes lol. That's 6 cars in one (2 versions of each car).

I went to "lexus taste of luxury event" this past weekend. Pretty much tore by the track to the best ability on the is250/350; but the car with better handling was the gs300 (even when compared to gs430 and 430 awd). Wifee was screaming and holding on, while the turns kept things 'rolling'

sorry about this short/messy review first....

there were total of 4 new IS for test drive...
1 IS350
1 IS250 RWD
2 IS250 AWD

I like how Toyota always

I testdrove the IS250 RWD first...the handling was awesome!!! the new "traction control" VDIM is great~basically when the tail starts to swing, it just saves it without u doing anything at all. (hit 2 cones thru the whole course ) Speedwise is similar to the IS300. Very quiet comfy car. Lots more options and little details in the car than ours!! love the LED bulbs in the interior lights...overall I LOVE IT! give me an all new impression about the car

didn't test drive the IS250 AWD...cuz thought it's probably just handle similar to the RWD..but interesting thing was...there was one white/silver AWD, somehow that one looked more "beaten up" than the other one...the right fog light is falling apart (someone hit it), it was all scratched up + dented ...even the fender lining inside is ripped off...so sad...

now comes the IS350...(i waited almost 2 hrs for it, cuz priorities goes to people who's driving for the 1st time in line)...but to be honest, it's TOTALLY WORTH the wait!
the look i got on my face was ...i can't stop smiling after...hahaha~~~it's SO FAST!!!!!!! driving around the whole course in the IS250 was almost full throttle all the way...but with the IS350...i had to lift the gas pedal many times...it's just GREAT! I can't find any words to describe the feeling. The moment u step on the gas was like "WOOOOOWWWW". The whole car is balance very well and braking is awesome...i didn't wanna get out of the car after (btw didn't hit any cone at all )

I left after testdriving the IS350...and then drove my car home...and i feel my car is so slow hahaha~~~

anyway, this is my experience today! i bet i'll have a nice dream tonite about the car..haha~~~
(I got *two thumbs up* from the "driving instructor" who was riding with me today...also some other staffs that were there...haha...he said i drive better than probably 80% of the guys that were there today they said they should give me a prize or sth... )...i'm just too happy after the testdrive...it feels like u know when u taste something good, and the taste just stays in ur mouth?? i got that kinda feeling...hahaha...sorry...gone crazy... :P

Pics will be up soon since my bro hasn't upload them yet...

I went to it a few weeks ago while it was held here in Chicago, IL. It was amazing, it was at a race track packing lot, they set up cones and a mini track with 90 degree turns and s curves, just literally drive the hell outta the car, burn outs, whatever as long as you have control of the vehicle at all times you can stay on the track, there were other cars also, Bmw, mercedes, it was something to remember thats for sure, from what I heard from the reps there that day, a set of tires were gone by the end of the day, from ppl just whaling on the cars, hehee...have fun..thats a definate.
