My 1991 LS400 is not reading it's CDs. The CDs are placed inside correctly and the CD case is put inside correctly. It will just report saying Err.

Any ideas? I looked inside (couldn't really fit), but I couldn't see anything. What should I do? Do I need to get it replaced?

make sure the cds are facing label side down

Mine does that too, but only with non-original CDs... copied ones in other words. What Error does it say? Is it Error 1? I have to power it off and on several times for it to play... and sometimes it skips while playing... therefore I have to do the same power on & off trick.... very annoying.

So the solution? Buy only originals from the store! If they are originals, then you know you got problems lol... replace it with a better system.
