Gen1 LS400 Timing belt

I want to let everyone know that I have no Idea how this works. I only know about this through some friends. I need a bit of advice. I drive a '94 ls400. I use this car infrequently and I am on a tight budget. I just had a friend who drives a '90 Celica GT with the I think 2.0 16valve lose a timing belt so now I am flipping out. I bought my car used, and I've noticed that most lexus have a barcode sticker and a date and mileage on it if their timing belt has been changed attached to the timing belt. My car has 155500 miles and has neither of these. I was informed that this car has a non-clearance engine. I am very concerned that the timing belt is running on borrowed time. Does anyone know what it might cost to replace, also how much an independent might charge for this? Any reputable shops on the chicago northside? I also hear a ringing sound from the engine. Assume that this is a tentioner on the accesory drive ( present only when a/c/headlights are on). I am assuming that a bearing is out on a tentioner pulley. Okay lets be honeset, with my luck it is either the alternator or the air conditioner so big bucks. Also recently my airbag light is on. Please blog this and let me know what is going on. oh and the power steering is defiinatly leaking, though not much now. Also worried about ignition coils. I love this car, don't want anything to happen. Does anyone know anything. You'd be surprised, there is next to nothing on the net about these cars. Also, Does anyone run one of these cars with an Ipod. Pls let me know.

Thanks all

Ryan
