Hey all, I'm a newbie to the Lexus SC models, I'm looking into buying one soon, but I was doing some research online and ran across a few with 2jz motors in them. Did they come stock in certain years of the SC or are they just swaps? Thanks.

2JZ-GE engine is stock on all SC300s, 1992-2000. The 1998+ models were VVT-i.

Whoever has a 2JZ-GTE engine is swapped, there are quite a few people with this swap, just not on this forum. A more common swap (i.e. less expensive) is the twin turbo 1JZ-GTE motor swap.

im also a newwbee to the lexus sc scene im looking to build a true jdm soarer. im looking for any and all help i can find and get. i live in las vegas and finding it hard to find any reputable shops out here. is there anyone out here who lives in this area and knows of any? all info would be greatfull. thank you
