Need help on aftermarket wheels on my Lexus ES300!

Hi all,

I have a stock 2000 Lexus ES300 and I want to buy aftermarket 17" or 18" wheels for the car. I bought a set of 17" wheels from an online shop and they didn't fit! I'm having rubbing issues on the shocks/springs on 215/50/17 ET45 wheels/tires. Any Ideas? Please help!

Unless you return them you're stuck with them. As a last resort you could try wheel spacers to move the wheels further away from the shocks.

The best is to take it to a local rim and tire shop and see what they can do. Especially if your car is lowered.

since you are running the stock suspension, atleast thats what you say you have.... you need to make sure that the offset is the same and width of the tire is the same, or atelast the rim. the stock rims are 17x6. If you got thicker rims such as 17x7 or 17x8 then you are going to have to get spacers which you can find on e-bay... but that doesnt seem like what you want, just make sure they are the right width.

Yep make sure the wheels are running the correct offset. I suggest you visit a suspension place and check if they can reccomend anything to sort that out.

I got mine lowered heaps, with 18s, and my ride scrubbed and scrapped at almost every turn.
