Question 94 ES 300 Transmission

I have a 1994 ES 300 with 50,000 miles. I recently got a DTC P0773 trouble code. This code ahs something to do with the transmission shift solenoid E. Has anyone encountered this problem. Any advice would be helpfull thanks.

P0773

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The shift solenoid valve SL is turned ON and OFF by signals from the Engine Control Module (ECM) to control the hydraulic pressure acting on the lock-up relay valve, which then controls operation of the lock-up clutch.

Fail Safe Function
If the ECM detects a malfunction, it turns the shift solenoid valve SL OFF.

Thats all I have for a description on Alldata
