I have a 90 Lexus ES250 and I got some kind of wierd sqeaking noise coming from my passenger side front. It only does this when the car is moving slow, when I accelerate it goes away. The problem is, it doesn't do it all the time, but when it does, it is loud an annoying. I replaced the rotors and pads yesterday. Took it for a test drive and no sound. Drove it today, it the squeaking was back. Put the car on stands and ran it, but no noise was found. There is no vibration in the steering it it does this going straight or turning. Also the wheel bearing are fairly new, so I eliminated this option. I have not a clue as to what this could be. It comes and goes and is really starting to piss me off. Can anyone provide any advice or what to look at next. Oh yeah, when I jacked the car up and put in drive, the drive wheel was not moving, but the passenger wheel was spinning freely. The drive wheel didn't move until I put a little pressure on the brakes, but this stopped the passenger wheel from turning. I thought they both are supposed to turn at the same time and stop at the same time. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but could the noise be coming from my transmission?? You can't hear anything on the drivers side, only the passenger. PLEASE HELP!!!
