Don't know if this is a repost, but apparently lexus is gonna build a super IS to rival the M3 and AMG c-class. this article even has some spy shots..

i think i'd still get the m3 tho...

I'd take the IS500 over the M3. ESPECIALLY if Lexus gives it the option of having a traditional 6 speed gearbox. The car will rival the M3 in all aspects, except for handling (both will be superb, but the M3 will always win here while the Lexus will have more luxury). I like the styling of the IS 100x more than the styling of the new 3 series. IS500 for me, especially since Lexus says the IS500 will have a fully defeatable traction control/stability system unlike the current models (except 2007 LS, also fully defeatable).

I wouldn't get the M3, especially since everyone else is getting the M3

did u know that there is not going to be any IS500... well atleast nothing yet. that is a picture of an 2006 Euro Spec IS... not a new IS in the making.
