Lexus ES300 Keyless Entry Question

I recently bought a 1997 es300 lexus. It did not come with a remote for keyless entry. I have seen some on ebay. What model do I get because some remotes have the button on the key and some have a seprate piece? Also are they are hard to program to the car? Please let me know. Thanks.

the keyles entry on this year is built into the key. There is no pragramming involved with it. A chip that matches the key needs to be installed into the trunk.

I disagree. My uncle has a 00 with a seperate remote. My dad has had a 92 and currently has a 96. Both had buttons on the remotes.

then he has an aftermarket alarm because the 00 es came with keyless entry built into a 200 dollar key
