Getting an sc400

Hey guys, i'm getting an sc400 and i want to know if the model as any problems or if there is just anything i should know about them. My price range is limited, so i will probably be getting a 92 or 93. I have seen a few with 140k or below, but most have huge amounts of miles on them, and i was wondering how lmany miles they typically go for?

also, if anyone could carfaxthis car for me i would greatly appreciate it. just pm me.

VIN JT8UZ30C9N0006890

thanks again.

cant help you car fax it, but im also looking for an SC myself, in the NE side.

ill tell you what a cool NYLexSC told me.

try ClubLexus.com, and get learned from intellexual.net.

ive heard generally good/great things bout the 300/400.

some gripes include misaligned doors, due to weak hinges, and dashboards whose LEDs die. easily fixed tho. also yellowiung of lenses...thats also fixable.

hope you find the car thats right for you....and i'll see you on ClubLexus one day

Hi, Im in the UK and Ive got an SC300, we call them Soarers in the England. For the V8 (SC400) main generic fault is the power steering pump can leak, resulting in oil leaking into your alternator which means expense. Take it the car youre looking at is a US market car and not an import? Regards, Craig
