1997 ES300: Center brake light out

Hi guys, my 1997 ES300 center brake light is out. How do I open it up to change the light bulb? I've never done this before so I don't want to accidentally break any pieces trying to get to it. Help is appreciated. Thank you!

third brake bulb

from a kneeling position on the back seat, facing the rear window, put your hands on each side of the 3rd brake assy. and slide it over to your left (towards the passenger side) and then lift up.

Thanks I don't see a plastic tabs from the trunk. So I will give the sliding from the back seat solution a try. Update to come later.

Tried sliding it left. The piece wouldn't budge at all. Do I just need to put my back into it? Don't want to break the piece.
