Hi
i just bought a Rx330 and I want to kno whether or not the car is based on other toyotas like the Toyota sienna, camry or highlander, since its engine sounds similar to all of the cars above n the salesman kept tellin me Lexus wouldn't do such a thing. As well i would like to know, if it is a major hassale maintaining a lexus? Or is it similar to a toyota since I already am driving a Sienna. As well can some1 post me a website on bodykits, grills or any part tat is made to enhance my cars overall look? I hope tis car, will be as popular as the previous one, meanin a ton of aftermarket parts.
The RX330 is a new car framed at a camry assemble plant! The engine it uses is teh 3mzfe (the same offered first on the sienna, soon to be offered in the 04 solara, and 03 camry sev6's, and then eventually to the highlander and the Es330's). I've read the long term plans for the highlander/rx platform (it was in a car mag i read on an airline)...they want to make the rx/highlander into a 4wd camry wagon prototype in the next to next generation...Does it really matter what the salesman says..after all your the one making the payments, he's just making commissions!
It doesn't matter what he said, its juss the fact tat the bitch lied. He was sayin how high quality the car is n how no Toyota can have any parts tat it has. Damn I feel now tat the car is over rated.
