Hey all, I am thinking of buying a new IS250 with navi. I went to test drive and the MSRP for it is $38,XXX. I am wondering how much do you guys pay for yours? I am thinking of getting it $37000 out the door. Or it is still too high? ><;

Price is different depending on your location and the supply available. Places with lots of dealership such as CA will generally be easier to negotiate for a lower price.
A good idea when negotiating is to aim for the invoice price... good luck!
BTW - from the MSRP, it looks like a RWD IS250 and not AWD right?

Take the lowest price they give you and bring it to another dealer. Make two or more compete with each other. It comes down to how much time you want to play the negotiation game - eventually if they want to make the sale, they'll agree to your demands.
good luck!

Hold out for a demo... got a 2006 IS250 AWD dealer demo with 9K miles loaded for $29,272 Labor Day weekend this year... new would have been $40K.... could not be happier with my purchase, best car I've ever owned (17 and counting...).
i do not suggest demos, they are loaner cars that people usually beat the shit out of or not care too much for.
Agreed - stay far far away from demos... they are indeed cheaper but you're paying a bunch of money for a new car, why settle for a beat up loaner that's probably has been abused?
Anyways - I went out and bought a '08 IS250 AWD with NAV this past weekend for a family member. It stickered for $40,765 and I ended up paying invoice @ $36,160.
So for the OP - keep insisting for the invoice price, it takes some persistence but they'll see it your way if you just keep at it.

Completely disagree... I know the service manager AND GM at my dealership. At Lexus, they keep demos in PRISTINE condition because its advertising for them. I found a scuff on two wheels, so what did they do- 4 NEW wheels, no cost!!! And at two months AFTER I bought my car.
Toyota- different story.
Remember- all under warranty. I'll take $11k off sticker for a car that'll run 250K miles... and lastly, ITS A LEXUS!!

Agree on going for invoice, this is a good deal. For my deal, 9K miles at $29,272. You paid $36,160, so roughly $7K difference. Operating cost of IS250 is $.77/mile so I would say it's almost a wash, although I'm probably $140/month lower in car payments....

Again, good deal!!!
Yah, no worries on car payment though - I usually pay it off on the spot. The worst thing to do when buying a car is to pay it off over many years and letting the interest build up on a depreciating car.
