Changing your own oil
I assume you have a Lexus so you should be able to reach the oil filter from the top rather than taking the stone guard off the bottom. The filter is in an akward position, especially when the exhaust manifold is hot, so what I do is drain the oil when I get home in the evening (while it is hot) and change the filter the next morning when the engine is cold. I also use a K&N oil filter which has a 1" nut welded to the end of the filter making removing it much easier. Good luck.
