Well the Soarer is an identical sibling of the Lexus SC, so you might want to try your question in the Lexus forum.

I think we are in the right place.
The Soarer was never officialy on sale in the UK. I bought my Toyota Soarer 4.0 GT as a 'grey' import from Japan. The folks in the States know it as the Lexus SC300 and SC400. What's in a name? In the UK the Solara is an ice lolly!
So far, my wife's loving my new toy. Can't get her out of the damn thing.
