ES300 Smoke

Hi, I am new here with an old problem all of you have listened to before but I am having it now.
As soon as the engine starts up blue smoke comes out the exaust.
I don't know if it is valve seals or not.
I have no codes, car runs good, smoke quits after a short while.
What is the fix for this problem?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

sounds like your rings are worn out, on each cylinder there are 3 rings 2 compresion and one oil. the piston rings expand as the engine warms so, if they are worn they wont seal against the cylinder walls, i would guess since it goes away after a while that the rings are your problem needing attention but they probly wont break right away, sounds like once it warms up the rings are expanding enough and filling the gap between the cylider wall and the piston. the blue smoke would be excess oil blow-by. (oil getting past the rings and into the combustion chamber). rings are cheep however. putting them in is a pain, especially on these motors. and haveing them put in will be expensive.

hope that helps out a little.
