Where is the am antenna ? is it the same as a toyota--maybe avalon? i have a 2003 lexus ls430 and no one seems to know where the am antenna is and whether it can be improved for better distance reception.

Gee, Maybe I Cant--why Dont You Read The Manual For Me And Let Me Know Where I Missed It. Dont Bother To Call The Service Guys At The Lexus And Toyota Dealerships Like I Did, Because They Cant Seem To Read The Manual Or Their Schematics Either.

I'm a service guy. Your antenna is in your rear glass, it looks like part of the defrost grid but if you look closely they are seperate. BTW, if you have any further questions that I may assist you with feel free to shoot me a PM. Have great day!

Thanks For The Info. I Am Afraid You Know What You Are Talking About. I Called About 25 Dealerships, And 12 Of Them Were "pretty Sure" That The Am Antenna Was Where You Said. About 5 Of Them Including Lexus Headquarters Were Certain The Roof Antenna Not Only Did The "lexus Link" But The Am Antenna As Well. So----i Guess There Is No Way To Get A Better Am Reception ? I Need To Pull In Stations From 60 Miles Away.
