Question Turn Off Maintenance Light!

Help... I own a 2004 lexus RX330 and my maintenance required light just came on. I would really like to turn it off, I called the dealer and they cant figure out why it is on, Im not due for another 2,000 miles to get an oil change and the 35,000 mile check up that they think it is, I cant afford right now. Does anyone know the code to turn it off? Please help!!

Thanks!
Michelle

turn the key on, use the button for the trip meter to display the odometer mileage. turn key off push and hold the trip button and turn the key on while continuing to hold the trip button, you will see the odometer flash bars across the bottom when bars have completed and the odometer reads oooooo it has been reset.
