I was just wondering on the things i'm going to come across with doing a 1jzgte swap into a SC300 at. My main concern would be the wiring and the difficulty level of it. As of right now I have a 1jzgte wiring diagram and a SC300 wiring diagram on it's way. I was just curious on the preparation needed before starting the swap. Just to put out an idea of how much experience I have (just to compare); I've done an Redtop SR into a '91 240, and a s14 swap into another '91 240.
Remouve the stock harness and use that for the lenght. Then you need to get the stock wiring diagram and see how things will hook up in the car for the dash and other accesories. Its along and boring job but worth it in the end. Also make sure the stock twins will clear the firewall on my GS300 they did not clear the firewall and it required me to remove about 2 inches of the firewall and bring the heater core back 2 inches aswell.
i took your idea.. i got a 1jz gtte in my 93 sc300... swap was done by a guy i know who i bought the car from.. ill have pix of it probably after this weekend
