3VZFE Oil leak

First I'ld like to apologise that I do not know the name of this part of the 3vzfe engine. So I'm including front and side photos with arrow pointing to it.

I see some oil at the rim pointed to by the arrow . Not a lot, just enough to soak up an ear cleaning cotton bud. I clean it up and after a couple of days, it's there again. Is this kind of leak at that part of the engine likely to be a controlled kind that gets worse very very slowly or should I get it fixed ASAP? The car is a 1992 Toyota Windom.

Are you talking about the gasket between the valve cover and cylinder head?

Looks like a half moon plug.
Take the v/c gasket off and seal off the moon plug with some kind of sealant around it and replace the v/c gasket.
The half moon plug should just pop out in order to seal it.

Thanks all. The leak seem to have got worse so I took it to the mechanic and he removed the V/C and did what Nad1370 had suggested. BTW I asked the mechanic what that round thing was called and he said with a smile - The round thing
