'98 ES300 O2 sensor

Hi I'm having problems with my cars check engine light. I ran the code and found out that
Bank 1 Sensor was bad. This was the after cat 02 sensor. Since the car is equiped with California emmisions I replace the sensor with a Bosch 13352 oxygen sensor. After clearing the codes and a
bit of driving around the check engine light came back on. It was still telling me that I was having a 02 problem. So' I replaced the front sensor with a Bosch 15217 sensor. Again I cleared the codes and drove around to reset the computer. This time the check engine light came back on after about 56 miles. The first time it came back on after just 22 miles . So I decided to replace the fuel filter. I had to disconnect the battery to change the filter so after I replaced the filter it was more driving around. A short time thereafter the light came back on.
Now I'm wondering if I have the right O2 sensors. I'm getting tired of all the driving around wasting gas. My car was due for inspection last week and I'm afraid I will get a ticket with all the driving around I have been doing. Does anyone have any experience with this problem? Also, how long does it take for the computer to reset itself? Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

John

I solved my O2 problem. I found the third sensor in the back near the firewall and replaced it. Light went out after I drove it around for a while.
