es 300 won't start

Well can't seem to get any answers on the lexus site so I thought I would try this site. I am having a starting issue with my car. I was coming home from work a couple days ago and the check engine light came on, the car jerked and shut off. I got the codes read and it came up p1760 overrun clutch solenoid circuit. Isn't this a transmission code and would it possibly cause my car not to run/crank. It turns over but won't start. Today it started for like 15 seconds and shut off. Any ideas out there would be appreciated.

o.k., so i went out bought a obd II scanner and ran the codes myself. This time I go 3 codes, p0753 trans shift solenoid a, p0758 trans shift solenoid b, p1760 manufacturer specific code believe it is either overrun clutch solenoid or line pressure solenoid. Also was told that a bad shift solenoid could be preventing car from starting. Anyone know of this.

well the short problem is something i will have to look into but I really think that it may be giving faulty codes. my car will turn over but not start. i did get it to start one time today and it ran and idled fine for about 5 min then just shut off. i checked the fuel filter by unplugging the top fuel line and turning the car over but no fuel came out. I removed the fuel filter and could easily blow through it. I then watched to see if any fuel would come out of the fuel line while turning the car over but no fuel came out. does this mean i have a bad fuel pump. can i jump it out and see if it works? I sprayed starter fluid in the intake while it was been cranked and it would start momentarily.

from this.. it might be a fuel pump.. but i would look at the fuel pump relay 1st.. it wont be lable as a fuel pump relay.. but its called a Circuit Opening Relay ( CIR OPN ) you can try to swap it with other one that looks the same

Well I found it after 5 days of cleaning iac valve, maf sensor, checking fuel pump/filter, fuses, I found it...someone on a lexus site told me to check the pcv valve and there it was. As I was trying to pull out the pcv valve I bumped a ground wire connected to the throttle body and it moved..loose nut on that little sh**. Tightened now she purrs like a kitten again...Now for some reason while doing all of this my ABS light came on and now I can't automatically shift into gear. Also my speedometer does not work. Code comes up speed sensor malfunction. I did change around some of the relays in the fuse/relay box under the hood so now the search is on......rrrrrrrrrrrr does it ever end?

know how u feel.. my accord i had for so many years now with just oil changes and rotates.. within the last 6 months i have replaced alot of stuff thats been wrong. but feels good when its all done. knowing that its all fixed
the speed sensor might be bad. but i would pull it out and see if it has any metals stuck to it.
i also know new cars dont have a vehicle speed sensor in the transmission anymore.. they use readings from all 4 wheel speed sensors to put up the speed on your speedometer

got to thinking about it and when I bumped the loose ground wires I remember hear a click so I decided to checked my fuses under the dash and sure enough the 15 amp ecu/ign fuse was blown. Changed it out and fixed all my problems. i.e. ABS Light, speed sensor malfunction code, and shifter not shifting out of park which was probably the shift sensor being tied into that circuit. thanks to all for your advice.
