sc 400 transmission options

Whats up everyone, I'll start by introducing myself. My name is Tim and I'm working on purchasing my next car. I came to the conclusion that I'm getting a toyota product. I'm looking to spend $5,000ish and I have a list of possible canidates. Ranging from celica, supra, mr2, and maybe sc400. Whatever I can find the best deal on.

So here comes the question... does anyone here know of any available adaptor plates for a manual swap. Or a transmission that will mate up to the stock v8. I know a mt swap can be done, but it's a matter of feasibility. I don't own a cnc machine so I can't just whip up an adaptor plate, and the cost of a one off would probably be more than I want to spend. I've searched extensivly and I'm starting to think a mt sc400 is not easily obtainable, but I figured I would ask the lexus vets before throwin in the towel.

I'm sorry I'm an idiot, this thread is a classic example of posting before thinking. Last night as I tried to fall asleep I put into perspective everything that would go into the swap. Even if someone did make a kit. I would need the gearbox, clutch, possible driveshaft modification, clutch peddle, linkage, and ecu reflash. I'd rather find a mr2 that has a manual and put the extra money into suspension or power gains.
