Gen1 NEED HELP! new to toyotas and forum

Hey guys im new to lexus and toyota engines but not tuning/building and i need some help/info im buying a 94 lexus gs 300 to build a high hp vip style monster or atleast trying to and i need to know some shit.

1 are 2jzgte parts able to be bolted up to a 2jzge ie: manifolds, fuel rails injectors ect also are the head gaskets the same cause i was thinkin of using a 1mm one off a 2jzgte to lower compression and allow for safer bosting.
2 what can the auto tranny hold for power and what would be a better hp handling tranny? supra tt auto tranny? what mods need to be done for this?

any info/help would be greatly appreciated thanks guys.

1. Many parts are interchangeable, but I'm not sure about any of the parts you listed. If you want to boost the engine, there is a good quality turbo kit out there. (XS Power) for around 1500 bucks. The guy who deals them is a member on clubna-t.com.
2. I think the stock transmission can hold about 400-450hp, but if you baby it, then it should be fine.

I think the manifolds do bolt up but I'm not 100% certain. If you want a tranny that will hold that much power you might want to look into getting the 2JZ-GTE Aristo tranny.
