2000 RX300 oil pan removal question
Hello,
I am trying to remove both parts of the oil pan. I removed the small front part without any problems. The upper aluminum section that covers the back part of the engine is the issue. I removed the exhaust and all the visible bolts and screws so that NOTHING underneath is still holding that part of the pan to the engine. I removed the 2 long bolts that seem to hold the pan from the front side (bottom of AC or PS?, I did not look very well to see what accesory it is). Something is still holding that front part of the pan to the engine. The back side of the pan has separated from the engine block, but the front will not. It seems that the front part pushes into a slot and the 2 bolts hold it there (I removed the 2 bolts). What else is holding the pan? Thanks.
