Question How much did you pay for your ES330 in canada

I'm out there shopping for an 04 ES330 in Canada. I saw in other forums that people pay about US$500 above invoice in the States or sometimes 88-90% of MSRP. Should I use that as my negotation starting point in Canada?

How much did you pay for yours in Canada ($$ above invoice or % of MSRP)?

Thanks,
Puzzled shopper

ES330

56K? If I back out all the taxes/PDI, that's like $1000 off MSRP then? Is it right?

Thx

the MSRP of a ES330 is $43800
plus a Luxury pakage is $48800
so the handling, freight, tax would be $7k

You should of got the new Acura TL instead. ES330 is basically a camry with a lexus badge..

I'm sorry but acuras interior finish is no where near a lexus.

That and if you drive the camry then the 330, you will noticed that it is much more refined and quieter than the camry.

exactly.. and i think TL and ES are for different target..

ya the ES wont beat TL in peroformance..
but the TL won't beat ES in ride quality and luxury

and exactly what VVTI says.. a camry is totally different.. although they got same platform. .
my family got a 03 camry SE.. i drove both the ES and the camry.. they are totally different

Have you guys test drove the new TL.. its pretty quiet to me.. I test drove both cars.. and the interior on the new TL is great looking especially with the navigation.. . its more modern. The lexus' leather is better but so what..

I guess the ES is targetting the old folks.. b/c of its boring interior... and slow performance.

I own an 03 MDX and am not very impressed with the quality of Acura, nor the service. The engine is great but the quality/reliability just don't measure up to the Japanese standard, perhaps because MDX is not made in Japan. We needed to have a couple of small things fixed already, and the car is not even 1 year old.

I need a really trouble-free family car to keep for at least 10 yrs. I think ES330 would be better than a US-made Camry for that purpose. The reliability of Camry did drop after it moved the production outside of Japan.

I also test drove Infiniti G35 AWD. It's powerful and practical. The backseat is reclinable making it very comfortable for long trips IF you're only seating two in the back.
