I want to buy a lexus?

I own a 00 toyota camry le v6 that I bought brand new.

I want to step up to a lexus, the V8 seems like an option I would want.

I have about 30k to drop.

Can you recommend something?

well if yur lookin for a sedan with a V8, yur options are the gs400, and ls 400
the gs is also available with 6cyl, the gs300
the ls is considered more top of the line than the gs
for 30k i would think you would be able to find a pretty nice gs400, so thats my suggestion

you could always buy a used IS300, then spend the other $10k to drop the 4.3L V8 from the GS/LS430 inside it.

Its what I would do.

The IS300 is too small! I need leg room!

I wouldn't suggest IS300 to someone who "want something similar to the camry".

Go for a used LS.

GS or IS i would prefer. Of course, I always love the supra's. If you want a luxury sedan and with a v8 I suppose you could get an LS .

It will be nearly impossible to find a LS 430 or GS 430 for solidg budget of 30k, unless solidg wants to spend more money for the LS430 / GS430

I would personaly go for a used GS400 over a used LS400.
