What years/models have the little opening in the grille area (as there is not actually a grille)? I actually do not like the way the hole/opening looks.

Yes, it's the 97+ that has the grill on the front bumper. The 97+ also has side and rear skirts, different tail lights and spoiler, and front bumper. I have a 92sc400 and I prfer the 97+ exterior, though it's not that different. To me, it has a cleaner look to it.

i like everything about the 97's, except for the taillights and spoiler...
the only good looking SC taillights out of the 3 revisons were the original 92-94's...
