1995 ES300 motor in a '93?

My brother has this really nice '93 ES300 sitting in his father's garage. He asked me if I wanted it, and I said "Hell yeah!". The problem is, it has no motor. He recently got a '95 motor from a friend and we're now wondering if it could fit, and work properly. I would appreciate the help guys.

yes, they both use the 3VZ-FE 3.0L V6 engine. it'll be a straight drop in.

Thanks guys, I talked to some other ppl and got the same answer basically. The ECU's and transmission are different. I figure I'll just get a new '93 motor (well, not new, but u get my drift) for it and drop it in. Thanks a lot.

yeah get the 3vz motor... 1mz is 94+

the wiring will be completely different... it would work, but you would have to do a crap load of modifications for it to work... get a 3vz. i recently picked one up with 85k for 850.

I'm not sure, would have to ask my brother about that. He's the one that got it in the first place.
