Angry My boy's IS300 was stolen...

well, almost. we got to the car and all the doors were opened, the manual was in the back seat, and wires next to the reaer seats were exposed. The funny thing was that nothing was actually taken from the car. I told him that they were after the car. Now the problem is that he needs the side plastic molding that's right next to the rear seat, and we have no idea were to get it. I was wondering if anyone on this forum knows were to buy them. It's the plastic molding that is inside the car, next to the rear seats. I think it's were people can put there foot to help them get in and out of the car without damaging the paint. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? It covers the wires next to the rear seat. Any info would be great.

Sorry to hear what happen. You can try www.taprecycling.net They have onlt toyota/scion/lexus vehicles only. They also ship too and may have what you need. The last time I went there, I saw a IS300 that was pretty beat up in the front, but still have alot of good parts. They also have a 1-800 number for out of towners or you can e-mail them. I just bought a lexus wheel from them in which it was hard to find. I hope that helps!!

Dunno but I'm pretty sure a Lex doesn't start without it's key.

So Unless you gotta tow truck don't bother trying to steal one.

You can, but only if someone has it and selling it. There are somethings that ebay has and doesn't have.

I have no idea why they tried opening wires in the rear. we're just glad they weren't able to take the car and that they didn't strip it.

I'm not sure why they tried to open the wires in the rear, but you can try searching on www.clublexus.com There are alot of IS300 owners and after registering, you can probably find the answer you need.
