the # 3 button n the climate control of my ES250 doesnt work...is this a common problem among them?? i just saw a whole switch unit on ebay for cheap, should i start with replacing the whole unit first???

Heat slider: That is the knob that slides from blue(Cold) to Red(Hot) on the climate control. It is actually a sliding rheostat that controls a servo to the heater.
On your Climate control, are you saying that when you press the third button for the fan speed the blower blows fine unless you turn on the A/C? So what then, the blower quits blowing completely? But if you use any other speed setting the climate control system works fine?
