2003 IS??

My friend (okay, her dad) ordered a silver 2002 IS 300, but was told that production was stopped on all 2002 IS's, and that they'd have to wait until the 2003 model came out. Anyone know if there's any truth to that? Also, has anyone seen the 2003, what's changed?

I just bought my 2002 IS300 at Don Valley Lexus just 2 weeks ago and it seems that they got enough of em in stock. In fact I take delivery on June 21st. I guess the dealer you went to didnt have any in stock my guess is.
As for the 2003, there are no big changes in store, but i hear that the rims might be a bit different!

no difference between 02 and 03 except rims..

the only changes for 2003 is for the &quot;B package&quot; or &quot;Sport Appearance package&quot; will now come with a sunroof. And there won't be a green and gold colour anymore. :grin:

She took delivery on her car. Graphite grey. I don't see any changes, including the rims. Must be lowered!

Chances are they picked up a 2002. The rims did change for sure and from my knowledge, they don't start selling 2003 models (Lexsus that is) until mid september!!
But I may be wrong!
