Okay, I was wondering, how many of you SC300, SC400 owners have a SC with manual transmission? I know it's a rare find, but I want to know how many exists on US shores. I only saw one and it was a beast.
I don't believe the SC400 was offered with a manual, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
You are most correct!! The SC400's did not come with a manual transmission, only auto. The SC300 came in auto or manual, but the manual sc300 are rare. I'm not sure how many manual sc300 exists on U.S. shores.
They should make one for the SC430. That would be a beast to be dealt with. 300HP at the wheels, damn. Turbo it, you got yourself a insane drift machine.
Yeah. They also have it available for the Celsior (LS430)
It's the 3UZ-FE Twin Compressor System
Normal 3UZ-FE engine punches out only 260ps/5600rpm - About 260HP/5600rpm.
Compressor 3UZ-FE produces 326ps/5700rpm - About 326HP/5700rpm.
You'd think the 3UZ-FE engine is good enough but no, Blitz had to do something crazy. To make two superchargers into one.

Torque is from 37 kg.m to 50.3 kg.m And oh get this......it's ¥1,000,000. Let's see....that's about......hold on to your chair. $10,000 each.
I would like to start a project involving a swap to a GM six speed, but not until I do a house-move. A manual-swap would free up 40 hp that is lost to the auto vs a manual trans.
A place named Dellow automotive in Australia makes a swap kit w/bellhousing to use a Toyota trans, don't know of any cars with that here in the states though.
The SCs are kind of luxo-cars; however, they do happen to share suspensions with the Supra, weigh basically the same(100-150+), so it's pretty easy to make one handle like a stock Supra TT(.99Gs), and with a car that weighs 3800 on the scales(curb 3650), a 300+ hp 4.0 is alot of fun.
Think about how a 1750 lb(curb wt) car would run with a 2.0 engine with some mild tuning, or a turbo $etup.
