1990 es250 need to sell, how?

We are getting rid of a 90 es250. The car still runs, but will need a tranny and many other things. (CV, Susp, etc).

Is EBAY the best way? Anyone / Anyplace paying good money to buy for parts?

I am not trying to sell here, just getting some input.

Thanks!

You sell your car yet?

I wouldn't suggest eBay unless you are buying. Got one heck of a deal on one of my ES250's.

It seems the A540 Tranny is the weak link in the V6 Camrys/ES250's If you could get that fixed/replaced for under $1200.00. The value of the car would go up by about $2000 more than what you will probably get for it now...

For whatever reason it seems the ES250's with bad trannies don't sell for much. I've had opportunity to pick up several for between $200 to $500 in otherwise very decent condition.

If you don't want to spend money on it to sell it, you could defintely get more for the parts. I for one could use the keys and tumblers from an ES250 (if more than one master key exists for it) and would be willing to pay around $100 for the set. (what it would cost for another key for my car)
