Toyota Altezza

Which Lexus is the same as the Altezza (or is there one)?

Its the Lexus IS300 and from what I know, there is only one Altezza model in Japan.

but engines are differents

altezza = high rpm inline 4 2.0 engine producing 210hp (220hp?)

is300 = 215hp 3.0 inline 6

the altezza (and the european IS200) has the 2 liter 3sge, the Lexus IS300 has the 3 liter 2JZ-GE...

huh?... from wut i know... the IS200 from europe... it's a 2.0L inline6.... and it's only has 150hp...

Ya it a 6cyl 2L 1G-FE engine, all iron block and uninspiring 114kW at just 6200 rpm kinda crapy if you ask me.But JDM Altezza's (RS200) are DVVTI 3S-GE 6spd's .Only the poor guys in europe get the POS underpowered 1G-FE.

Is300 is altezza ~~ Altezza series include:280T, AS-200, RS-200, IS-200, IS-300 etc.. so basic altezza is the group name

Altezza...is the Japanese version...it only include AS200 and RS200...the 280T is modded by Tom's as an special edition...IS200 and IS300 is a separate "group" if u wanna call it...

the Altezza-Gita (SportCross for us yanks) also gets the 2JZ-GE with the option of AWD (4-speed auto) and the RWD has the 5-speed auto.
