Early Model LS400 & Toyo Avalon...How Close???

I wanted to find out how close in dimensions & shape the body panels (Specifically Front bumper & rear bumper) are for the early model (Generation 1) Toyota Avalons are with the Early model year LS400's ????

there are some body ground effects kits available for the LS400 and I want to find out if they are close enough to make fit the Avalon????

Thanks

Todd

Cool

Not even in the same ballpark. Look up what the wheelbase and width of an LS400 is.

Avalon is an enlarged Camry.

LS series is a large RWD car comparable to S-class by Mercedes.

From carpoint

1997 Avalon width

70.3 in

1990 LS 400 width

71.30 in

The LS is an inch wider. It might be possible but it would take so much work you would be better off buying something made for the avalon. Especially if you wanted the body seams to match up well.

Unofrtunately, I bought an old fart's car and no one makes any type of body kit fot it.

The closest match is the Gen 1 LS400 or the '96 Camry which is about 1/2 inch too narrow.

The good thing is I have found both kits for the camry and LS that are made of fiberglass so modification won't be that bad....

Thanks for the input.

And besides, any Lexus model has tons of potential to be an awesome sports car. Hell the SC300 is pretty much the same as a Supra. most of the same mods for a supra will work for an SC, and GS too(not the new models of course)
