Let's just say if I were to buy the 2002 IS without the LSD, can it be added later on?

It was dumb that they introduced the A, B, C, D packages... I could care less about stuff like moonroof or leather...

i dont think so.

well, what i mean is.. there is nothing you cant add if you have $$ to spend.
but it will definitely cost you at least 2x more than if you get it factory installed. and 2x more time/tideous work.

and trust me, you would want the moon roof and some other goodies. you can always take them out later if you dont want them. and it is always easier to take out than to install something you dont have..

just my thoughts.~

So are you saying someone had done this before???

Why do I want to pay for the option and pay for someone to take it off later? And who am I going to sell the parts to?

someone had definitely asked the same Q as you did on is300.net as i was reading.

and goodies? well, what i mean is its easier to take stuff off than to install it ! and even though you may not like it, it is after all an Lexus, not too many people would want an IS300 with pure performance with only 1 seats and no A/C and power seat and etc.. you know.. after all IS300 is a considered as a LUXUARY SPORTS SEDAN with emphasis on SPORTS, whereas ES300 is luxuary sports sedan with emphasis on LUXUARY..
