What is the JDM equivilant to the new GS300?

A good friend of mine just bought a 2005 GS300 and as a gift I would like to supprise him with the JDM Toyota badges for the it. Problem is, I can't find what the JDM equivilant to the GS is anywhere online. Anyone able to offer some shed some light over here?

it was aristo. For now, there is no new Aristo, and there won't be, as it will now be known as teh GS300 around the world with tehintroduction of lexus globally.

They stopped with the 2004 Aristo. There's no plans for the 05 Aristos yet in Japan. Most likely it'll be the Lexus GS in Japan this coming year that's being introduced in Japan.

Yes, the Aristo is the JDM Toyota equivalent to the GS, but the 05/06 GS sold here in the US was developed in the US for Lexus only.
