Lexus SC430 cd changer problem

One of my cds got stuck and is jammed in the cd player of a sc430, does anyone know how to ttake it out? i would take it to the dealer, but im afraid they might charge me. Anyone know where i can get instructions on how to take apart the dash, such as a free manual?

Any help would be appriciated.
thanks

First, do not use cd's with exterior labels. Ok yeah you're right as far as charging you. IMO they should warranty it (assuming you're under warranty). I do not recommend you take the changer apart itself. I work at Lexus and we send them back to the factory and they mail the cd's to you.

As far as I know there is no info on what cd's or not to use in the changer. On that note, if they didn't provide you with info saying don't use labeled cd's, then it's under warranty for sure. I have fished out some cd's with tweezers or very slim needle nose plies.

For the most part, they shouldn't charge you or they have sucky customer service.

CD Changer

The trick to it is to use two business cards to pull it out. Our dealership (Southfield, Mi) wouldn't charge you unless it is impossible to get out. Otherwise, we would order a replacement head unit which may or may not be covered under warranty (depending on the situation).

Hope this helps.

I have the same problem. Used a CD with a label and now it is stuck. I cannot open the door to get access to the stuck CD. If I press load it just kicks over to the Radio and the door does not open. Eject and Play do not work either. I have 6 CDs in the in-dash changer but it only shows that 4 are loaded.

Please help.

Basicly you need to have the factory replace the unit and send you back your cd's. If you can actually manage to get the door open you may be able to use some needle nose pliers that I actually got from Sears. They're very very thin/long needle nose. They work very well, tweezers may not work. Otherwise head to the dealer.
