Mid-West Lexus Scene?

Fellow Lexus Enthusiasts,

I am considering opening a Lexus Performance and Customization shop in the metro Detroit area, and am curious about the “Lexus Scene” in the Mid-West area. If anyone could provide me with their input, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your time,

- Zach

I'm prolly going to pick up an is300 in the next few weeks cus my supra is not a good car to commute to school (U of Illinois) from sturgis, MI but I think SP in chicago has a cormer on toyota purformance in the mid-west. and speed-source also has a nice sized chunk of the area. Just where you are I'd say that if you guys did more high end bling bling crap with the purfomance that it might make a go of it.

welcome to toyota nation. The Lexus performance shop sounds like a great idea; however, let me remind you that most people who own vehicles made by lexus aren't necessarily looking for more performance than they already have. Furthermore, most people wouldn't trust a private shop with their 40-70 thousand dollar vehicle. Why not a toyota shop? You see honda and nissan shops everywhere and all kinds of domestic shops, but you never see a toyota shop. You'd make a lot of money if you did it right. Good luck with everything.
