I did that just for curiousity.
Was told Toyota leaves it up the dealer what they put it....jeez
Sounds like Toyota is just doing CYA with CAFE standards.
Some past stories are really creative...
Some owners were told "Oh your car requires SPECIAL oil" and charged them an arm and a leg for 5w-20. Some didn't get told this until after they picked their car up.
Glad I change my own oil.
