The dealer can get aftermarket leather installed (and you can hope the side airbags will still deploy as designed). They cannot have factory leather installed since it isn't an option for that model Corolla, so it won't be built.

Obviously they didn't take care of the leather. You have to recondition the leather (the interval depends where you live. More often if you in the southern states with the intense sunlight). Cloth is lower maintenance.
