Does anyone use one of these in their ST215 Caldina? :?
It is a cargo shield/barrier with metal frames at the top and bottom, with nylon mesh in between. In case of emergencies resulting in sudden braking, it prevents the contents of the boot coming into the passenger compartment and braining it's occupants... will it keep an engine block or the body of a dead stripper from coming into the passenger cabin? Nup, but shopping and / or a gym bag or two? I like my chances...
At the bottom, it has straps that use the same hooks the cargo net uses to attach to the boot floor. At the top, it has small poles that expand outwards, to attach to clips/hooks that are attached to the internal framing of the caldina around where the top of the rear windows meet the ceiling.
My problem... is that I am missing the top clips. They are seperate to the net, but obviously have to be installed in the vehicle in order to use the net. Without it, the net is useless.
It does not appear to be an OEM Toyota part - it is not in ToyoDIY or the Caldina manual. The number on the bottom of it is not the usual ten digit Toyota part number either.
Is anyone able to shed some light on this? I'm not having much asking around in NZ, and Amayama in Japan couldn't help either (thanks though to Kiwi-Corolla for pointing me in their direction, I think I'll be coming back to those guys...
Thanks for your help!
