Front Right SensorAir Bag Front RH Sensor

REPLACEMENT

  1. PRECAUTION Observe Air Bag Systems; Service Precautions.
  2. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
  3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
  4. REMOVE AIR BAG FRONT RH SENSOR

  1. Remove the bolt and front airbag sensor RH.

  1. Disconnect the connector from the front airbag sensor RH. HINT: Insert a screw driver in any of the three opening sections of the sensor and slide the sensor to disconnect it from the connector.
    1. INSPECT AIR BAG FRONT RH SENSOR
    2. INSTALL AIR BAG FRONT RH SENSOR
      1. Check that the ignition switch turn OFF.
      2. Check that the battery negative (-) terminal is disconnected. NOTE: Do not start the operation for 90 seconds after removing the terminal.
      3. Install the front airbag sensor RH with the bolt. Torque: 17.5 N.m (178 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
      4. Connect the connector to the front airbag sensor RH.
      5. Check that no play is identified.
    1. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
