I'm not sure about you guys, but since we all live in the northern states where it gets pretty cold in the winter, I've never had a single flare occur when the car was cold. I believe it's because of the cold that the transmission holds 3rd gear much longer then it does when it's warmer out, which is basically what the TSB fix is suppose to do.

Wait until late spring/summer when the temps start getting 60F+ in the morning, and you may start seeing the flare more often.
