My window tinter says 20% is the way to go. My rear is limo, and the sides are 20%. You'll only be pulled over if you're driving stupid. My tint actuall got me out of a stop sign ticket once! I pleaded that I had just got a seat belt ticket in my "route" truck, and he actually had sympathy and gave me a tint ticket instead of a $400.00 stop sign ticket.
