I am so disappointed after trading in my Corolla XRS for this Camry SE V6 that my head nearly explodes when I think of the mistake I made. The transmission flared, the transmission had to be "flashed", then the transmission developed a 1st second gear chatter (basically the clutch pack failed) and the tranny had to be replaced, the steering shaft had to be replaced, then the car needed an alignment, then front subframe bolts had to be tightened because the body was creaking oddly in turns, the dashboard had to be fixed because of a non-stop rattle but the thing still rattles when cold or on any moderately bumpy road.

Now there is this weird curtain airbag rattle that no amount of pushing and prodding or punching (yes I'm frustrated with this car) will cure. The dealer can't seem to get a good high speed balance on the tires (or worse there is some kind of new vibration).

The best part is the brakes are now warped, which I'm just POSITIVE the dealer will tell me is my fault even though the car has 20k on it and I have never, ever in the history of EVER owning a vehicle even replaced the brakes on a vehicle I've owned never mind having them warp.

If you are in the market for a new car, avoid a Camry at all costs. Compared to say my wifes RDX (which was only a few thousand more I might add) my ownership experience has been that the Camry is a miserable miserable vehicle to own and I sorely regret my purchase.

in for a 2009 Corolla XRS.
there ya go problem solved.
