I debadged my Tacoma on a hot day in the sun. Might be tougher for you.
I recommend a hair dryer over a heat gun but either way if you aren't careful you will blister the paint.
I used a soft plastic putty knife to just lift not scrape the emblem up so I could peel it off. Dental floss has been suggested too.
Any left over adhesive that was left I used WD-40 to remove.
